Multi-level, time-phased net requirements: independent demand from open Sales Orders (at their requested delivery date) is netted against on-hand stock, sized by each material's lot-sizing rule, and released leadTimeDays before it's due. If a material has a BOM, its planned order explodes into component demand at the next level down — recursively — instead of stopping at one flat number.
